Breakfast often means a stop at Ramos House Café, tucked right along Los Rios Street. The Smoked Bacon Scramble with rocket and apple-fried potatoes is a favorite, paired with their huckleberry coffee cake. We’re not big Bloody Mary fans ourselves, but friends swear by theirs and it's practically a meal in itself. When we want something a bit lighter or on the sweeter side, Ellie’s Table inside the historic Egan House is a local staple. Good coffee, delish flaky pastries, and the kind of charm you can only find in a building with history.
The Tea House on Los Rios with it's picturesque gardens, delicate china, and a traditional English tea service that makes any afternoon feel special. And when the craving for comfort food strikes, Heritage Barbecue is the spot. You’ll stand in line, but it’s part of the ritual. Their pulled pork and mac ‘n’ cheese are favorites, though you truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
