“Beautifully designed! Terri listens as a designer. She was able to pick up on what I like and even presented me with options I never would have considered on my own. She was also incredibly timely, communicative, and organized with her presentation. I trusted her and I love the design she gave me. Elegant and welcoming."

Quiet Coastal Charm with Relaxed Luxury

Corona del Mar Interior Designer

Corona del Mar has this way of feeling both tucked away and wonderfully alive. Flower-named streets lined with beach cottages, morning walks down to Little Corona, afternoons that seem to slowdown just a bit, and evenings wrapped in ocean air. It’s a community where the pace stays easy, the details matter, and the charm is in the mix of old and new - tiny cottages full of history sitting right next to quietly luxurious coastal homes. There’s a sense of place here that you feel right away, and it’s that blend of casual warmth and understated sophistication that makes CdM such a special corner of Orange County.

Where we love to dine
One of our longtime favorites is The Summer House. It’s not the newest or latest and greatest but it's the kind of spot where you can slide into a booth after a long install day and instantly decompress. And their blackened ahi tuna burger? Terri is notoriously picky about fish (truly, very picky), so the fact that this one makes the top of the list is saying something. It’s fresh, flavorful, and honestly worth the trip to CdM all on its own.

Just down the way is Side Door, which leans into comfort in the absolute best way. Their cheesery menu always gets us - especially the chef’s choice cheese plate. It forces us to try things we’d never pick for ourselves, yet somehow, we always end up loving every single selection. And if you go, don’t skip the Jidori chicken pot pie. The whole menu is warm, cozy, and exactly what you want on one of those cool, hazy coastal evenings.

Where we shop (and linger… often)
Rogers Gardens is a treasure and not just for gardening. Their seasonal decor is absolutely next-level! Around the holidays you’ll usually find us wandering the aisles with hot cocoa, or a mocha, in hand, taking in the trees, ornaments, and all the magic they manage to pack into one place. Their Halloween displays are just as impressive - some of the most creative and atmospheric decor in Orange County.

Designing in Corona del Mar
Homes in CdM have this effortless polish - whether it’s a classic cottage near the flower streets or a more modern coastal home with beautiful indoor–outdoor living. The design approach here isn’t loud or overly themed. It’s elevated but grounded. Natural textures, warm woods, layered palettes, character filled pieces with soul and history mixed in just enough to give a home that collected lived-in warmth.
The goal is always the same: interiors that feel breezy and comfortable but beautifully pulled together. Spaces that reflect the laid-back nature of the neighborhood while still feeling high-end and thoughtfully designed.

If you’re in Corona del Mar and looking to create a home that feels warm, layered with intention, and quietly sophisticated, we’d love to help. Reach out anytime to start the conversation.
